Two hours with the play area and the enchanted garden entirely to yourselves, once the doors have closed for the day. Party food is included, so there is nothing else to order.
A 50% deposit secures the date, with the balance due at least 7 days before. There is only one party each Saturday, so the popular dates go early.

Book any number in, right up to 60 people. Smaller groups are just as welcome, including at weekends.
Choose any start time during our opening hours, as long as your group arrives by 1:30pm.
Groups over 10 are arranged with us directly so we can block out the numbers and confirm any dietary requirements.
Food is included with a private Saturday party, and ordered on top for a daytime one. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements at least 7 days before the party.
The £390 package covers a party food box for every child and a choice of squash, so there is no food to order separately. Boxes rather than platters means you can serve the food whenever suits your party. Grown-ups can order from the full cafe menu on the night.
Party food boxes are available for any size of group, with sharing platters to go alongside. Give us a ring beforehand so we can have everything prepared.

A birthday cake is the one thing you can bring in. All other food and drink must come from Magic Beans Cafe, because we manage allergens for everyone in the building. For the same reason, the cake can't be cut and served in the play area, so please bring it wrapped to take home.
Everything you need to know before you book.
Maximum 60 guests in total, children and adults combined. Additional guests may wait in Magic Beans Cafe.
Daytime parties. Any number may be booked in, up to the 60 guest maximum. The latest entry time is 1:30pm. Daytime parties are not normally exclusive: more than one party may run at the same time, subject to the places available, and other visitors will be in as normal. Where a group is large enough to take up most of the places available, exclusive use of the play area may be possible by prior arrangement. This cannot be booked online and is not guaranteed: please email enquiries@hocuspocusplay.co.uk to discuss it.
Daytime parties of 10 or fewer may be booked online, as for a normal visit, with a ticket for every person attending. Parties of more than 10 must be arranged with us directly so that we can confirm numbers and ages, discuss any allergies or dietary requirements, and block out the places for the group.
Private Saturday parties. These run from 4:30pm to 6:30pm every Saturday, for up to 25 children and 60 guests in total, with exclusive use of the indoor play area and the enchanted garden, for £390. The package includes a party food box for each child and a choice of squash. Private parties are not available through the online booking system and must be arranged with us by phone or email. One private party runs each Saturday.
Deposits. For private Saturday parties, and daytime parties of more than 10 people, a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance is due at least 7 days before the party date. There are no refunds within 7 days of the party.

A birthday cake may be brought in. Apart from the cake, only food and drink purchased from Magic Beans Cafe may be consumed on the premises. The cake may not be cut and served in the play area, for allergen reasons, and must be wrapped to be taken home.
We politely ask that the following are not used in the play area:
If you wish to bring speakers for music, please keep them at a sensible volume so as not to disturb other customers and residents.
Own cups, plates and napkins are welcome. Please dispose of all decorations at the end of the party (bin bags available on request).
Please leave promptly at the end of your party to allow staff to clean. Leftover food can be packed in take-away bags to reduce waste.
